Annual Colonial Mayfair at Pottsgrove Manor

Brush away cold-weather blues and celebrate the arrival of spring the 18th century way!  Our Annual Colonial Mayfair features living history demonstrations where visitors of all ages can learn exciting historic trades and a marketplace where visitors can explore and purchase great colonial inspired items, but that's not all!

Start your day by joining in the dance around the festive Maypole to kick off the celebration.  Laugh until your sides hurt with an 18th century puppet theater, and be sure not to miss the amazing acts of wonder by the colonial magician.  Stop by our tasting tent to try local beer and colonial cider (Ages 21+).  Our tasting tent will also feature Craft soda and 18th century tea, coffee, and chocolate for visitors of all ages!    

PARKING DETAILS
FREE visitor parking is located at Pottstown Memorial Park, 75 West King Street, across from the Pottstown Carousel.  A free shuttle will be available to take guests to Pottsgrove Manor.

This month we will feature a theatrical performance to enjoy while you shop and enjoy local food and drink. Slurpphilly will be slinging fresh ramen, Korean fried chicken, Korean BBQ tacos. Evil Genius Beer Company will be serving their beer made right over on Front Street. We’re highlighting Philly’s talented artisans, craftspeople, and purveyors of handmade goods;Madcrumbs, Thankful Sage Farm School, Melmos Dog TreatsVessna Scheff, Terra LunaBrendan’s Rustic Handcrafts.

The farmstand is stocked with organically grown produce from right here in our high tunnels as well as foods from local farms and producers. Browse the garden center and greenhouse and say hi to Milkshake the pig and his friends.

Subaru Fall Festival at Greensgrow Farms

Join Subaru and Greensgrow Farms for a celebration of local food, music, crafts and farm fun! Whether you are from Philly or from out of town, get off the beaten path and checkout Greensgrow Farms, THE nationally recognized leader in urban farming and quite the little gem. Come see how a former galvanized steel plant became a model for urban agriculture.

Festival visitors will have the chance to enjoy live music, local food and drink, crafts from more than 30 local vendors, visit the farmstand and bring the kids to partake in a variety of children’s activities; run the sack race, bob for apples, or hunt for the best pumpkin in the patch and paint it. Taste samples from or compete in our annual Chili Competition and Apple Pie Competition where the public is asked to submit their best recipes to be crowned champions. Join us for the first of our festive evening markets! We are keeping the farm and the farmstand open late for shopping and have invited some of our favorite friends to join us! Philadelphia Brewing Company will be here and Chef Carolynn will be making grilled corn and other summertime treats. We’re having a natural bug balm workshop-more details here. There will be live music from Austin and Augusta and Shima Field. Enjoy beautiful hand made paper crafts from Nicole Donnelly, AKA paperTHINKtank, handmade soaps and other bath & body goodies from Nichole Gerding, Thankful Sage Farm School and Eva Bond prints and graphic arts.

Twilight Markets are the second Thursday of each month through November and are BYOBW (beer and wine). Different music, local food and drink, workshops, music and arts and craft vendors each month.
